Graphite, Watercolour, on Museum Board
16" × 20", (3)
This triptych plays with ideas regarding typically perceived notions of gender. The stoic, muscular male is contrasted by typical symbols of femininity. The male figure is left as a black and white contour image, while the flowers and background is painted in full colour. These works were the conceptual starting point for Ignudi Stiletti, a painted piece for the 2015 RAW Design Summer Party.
